This time it's thanks to an out-of-town construction company going bankrupt which causes Hanson's Mill to close for an undisclosed period of time. Good Bye two months of Pay, Hello endless ridicule from Harriet Oleson. At least this time they aren't in jeopardy of losing their oxen. But, now there is nothing but Bills, Bills, Bills. Charles isn't the only one working on bringing that bill down. Mary, with the help of Laura, is making her own fiscal contribution. In the meantime, Laura and Caroline, with the help of Carrie, are getting some extra crops growing to stash for winter. But, the biggest surprise is the return of some of the one shot Walnut Grove Residents that are ready to lend a helping hand to the Ingallas.
